James McManis is a St. Paul transplant from Denver, Colorado. He graduated from St. John’s University in 2012 with a B.A. in English Literature. When he’s not busy seeking sources, or writing articles for St. Louis Park and Southwest Metro, he enjoys screening horror movies for friends, playing the drums, and teaching children how to express themselves through poetry. Although he’s been a Colorado Rockies fan his whole life, he still enjoys watching the Twins: “They’ll NEVER play each other in the World Series, so there’s no conflict of interest.” He is currently an editorial intern at Tiger Oak Publications.
