Say hello to spring with the 22nd annual Arboretum 5K run/walk and 1K Daffodil Dash for kids! The certified asphalt course winds through the beautiful gardens of the Arboretum.
Kick off this family-friendly walk around the first level of the Mall of America with a complimentary breakfast followed by tons of sensory activities, mascots, games, prizes and giveaways galore. Rally as a team or register as an individual to help Fraser sustain existing programs and expand innovative services for those directly affected by autism.
The luncheon event will include pop-up shops, program videos and speakers, including Edina Mayor James B. Hovland, who will proclaim May 17 as “Angel Foundation Day.”
There is no cost for the luncheon, but guests are encouraged to donate at least $250, which is the cost for one child to attend Camp Angel. All donations directly support Camp Angel, which serves over 200 kids and teens during the three-day camp sessions in June and August.

Breanna’s Star is a Night of Art, Celebration and Giving in support of Breanna’s Gift, an organization bringing visual arts, dance, music and theater to children with life-threatening illnesses at Ronald McDonald House Upper Midwest and Children’s Minnesota in St. Paul and Minneapolis. Enjoy appetizers, wine and beer, live and silent auctions, tarot card reader and entertainment by country/rock/swing band Trailer Trash! Attire is casual. Come join the fun and help children escape to the magical world of the arts!
SING to Save Lives promises a night of great music, featuring Sweet Keys Dueling Pianos, great people to sing along with, food and a silent auction. The evening benefits SAVE (Suicide Awareness Voices of Education.) SAVE offers programs to “prevent suicide through public awareness and education, reduce stigma and serve as a resource for those touched by suicide.”

To benefit a local Minnetonka animal rescue, Secondhand Hounds, the infamous Jack Link’s Sasquatch will be hosting his very own kissing booth at the Wildside Store in Minneapolis’ Target Center. For every kiss the Sasquatch receives, Jack Link’s will donate $1 to Secondhand Hounds animal rescue. In addition, furry canine friends from Secondhand Hounds will be on-site and available to meet visitors.
2018 “Cody’s Dash for Down Syndrome” is on Sat. June 16th at Central Park in Hopkins. Our event is a 5K run/walk family event, with a kid’s dash, kid’s games, face painting, balloon artists, FREE Dilly Bars, live music, food trucks and much more!!! All of the proceeds from our event support the FREE therapeutic, educational, and social programs for children and adults with Down syndrome, at “Gigi’s Playhouse” in St. Louis Park.
