This second annual event is dedicated to unmasking the secrecy, stigma and shame associated with eating disorders.
The event will benefit the Emily Program & Foundation and its mission to save lives, change minds and eliminate eating disorders. Through seminars, forums and outreach, the Foundation increases awareness for eating disorders, obesity, and body image issues among adults and young people. In addition, it funds citizen lobbying and public policymaking efforts, as well as advocates for greater access to care, research and improved prevention methods.
The 6th annual Woof 'n Treat dog Halloween party is just around the corner! Get your dog's costume ready to join the fun on Saturday, October 25th!
There will be a great lineup of pet businesses at this years dog Halloween party including Eva Noth Photography, Lake Harriet Veterinary, Lucky Dog Pet Care, Bubbly Paws and Pampered Pooch Playground.
This fabulous party helps bring great health care to the community. The social hour and silent auction begin at 6 p.m., and the program begins at 7:45 p.m. Dinner is included in the ticket price. $200-$2,250. The third annual Laugh Out Loud Twin Cities (LOLTC), fundraiser for Gillette Children’s Specialty Healthcare will be held Saturday, September 27 at the Hilton Hotel, 1001 Marquette Avenue South, Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Camden Mona was just a few days old when he was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis, a disease that affects about 30,000 people across the United States. Today, Camden is a healthy 6-year-old with a deep love for music, a love that inspired the launch of a benefit concert to raise money for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation three years ago. This year, the Wright Brothers, popular Minnesota State Fair performers, with be playing at the event. They have been delighting Minnesota audiences for years with a repertoire that ranges from Elton John to the Eagles.
Come to support a great cause, stay for the rock and roll! Fifty Foot Canoe, Velahsa and Smilin' Cowboys will perform to support the Red Ribbon Ride, which raises funds and awareness to support eight Minnesota AIDS service organizations including: the African American AIDS Task Force, the Aliveness Project, Clare Housing, the Hope House of St. Croix Valley, the Minnesota AIDS Project, Park House, One Heartland and the Rural AIDS Action Network.

This year marks the fourth annual Cody's Dash for Down Syndrome to benefit GiGi's Playhouse! Get moving for a great cause. Sign up for a 5K run/walk, a 1-mile walk, or a kids' dash, followed by an afternoon of big fun: music, face painting, food trucks, balloons and more.
All proceeds will benefit GiGi's Playhouse and the free programs and services they provide to the Down syndrome community throughout the Twin Cities.
